Sometimes it just takes a long time for a song to make it from creation to the proverbial tape. In the case of the new single “Bisque” by Grand Rapids quartet The Quirk, that took something in the range of 4 years. Per the information for the track, the band states that this is a “(s)ingle release written in 2018 recorded in 2022.” I say this often, but good things come to those who wait and all, right?
