Swiss ska-punk act Patskats turn back the clock almost fifty years to 1974, to cover East Germany’s Nina Hagen & Automobil chart-topping pop-song “Du Hast Den Farbfilm Vergessen” (trans. “You Forgot the Color Film”). The single, featuring anodyne lyrics about scolding your partner for forgetting the eponymous camera film for their vacation, was also a critique on the colorless life living in the Eastern Bloc.
