Houston’s Heavy Thoughts are still riding high on their debut, self-titled LP from 2022. But why stop? The band has a new single and video, and TGEFM is here to premiere the latter for you!
Titled “Dead Anyway,” the song is a rock powerhouse that digs deep into what we tell ourselves to keep going. As vocalist Tanner Allen describes:
“Dead Anyway” is a letter to the version of myself who was struggling with isolation, suicidal thoughts, and alcohol. We all go through low points in life and they all look different. This song is what I told myself to get through what I thought would be the end of my life.
Great music often comes from deep places. Tap into that and the world is your oyster!
