Formerly Octopus Montage, the anthemic pop-punks skyrocketed to meteoric heights with the semi-gag cover of Simple Plan’s “What’s New Scooby Doo?” in 2017 (currently at 22m streams and counting on Spotify alone). Now they have undergone a bit of a reboot. The power and the anthems are still there, to be sure, but they’ve tightened things up into a trio. “Scream Godzilla” is this new iteration’s debut track and, while it technically is out tomorrow, TGEFM has got it for you right here, and right now.
This song is a long time coming, from overcoming a tumultuous year full of changes, introspection, and pressure imposed upon ourselves to be the best version we could be, we are proud to say that “SCREAM GODZILLA” is where we landed, this is the epitome of what we want to achieve as a creative force, and we are only progressing from here.
