“Gimme” is not here to knock on doors, it’s here to kick them in, grab the world by the ear and show them what I’m all about – a bouncy, erratic, energetic riff, and a moshable, catchy chorus that’ll be in your head for weeks. It feels like a truly monumental step up from any previous release of mine; from being sat alone in my flat, recording everything myself, only to throw it onto streaming services, to being in a place with such history as The Motor Museum, and working with Al Groves (Bring Me The Horizon, The Sherlocks) and Grant Berry (Busted, Stand Atlantic). On top of all that, this being the first true release with The Gunpowder Plot boys in the studio with me, lead to this being the most enjoyable experience in releasing anything. The result has far exceeded anything I could have hoped for, and I genuinely can’t wait for everyone that knows me to hear what we’ve done, and for those who haven’t heard me before to meet me and join me in having a fun time.
Having a fun time, indeed. TGEFM is super excited to premiere the new single and video “Gimme” from Guy, and mostly because 1) it rocks, and 2) this is the first time we’ve heard of this band and, well… we love new music and being exposed to new acts. Guy is definitely one to watch!

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM.
