TGEFM has another great premiere for you today, this time it’s Welsh alt-punks FLY-52!
This quartet is releasing their first new music of 2023 a, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg as they have much more to offer. “The Storm” comes to us as a music video (a spooky one at that), and per the band:
The song at its core is a deep dive into mental health and how depression can impact all of us, I wrote the line “The grass is greener” whilst going through a very treacherous time myself, the word’s kept jumping up at me from the paper as though they was speaking directly to me , so in essence, no matter how rough or long the storm is, you will walk out of it and when you do the grass will be greener and you’ll feel more alive than ever before.
FLY-52 are a proper pandemic band, formed in 2020, they released their debut EP Misspent Youth in Apr 2022. In between they’ve been gigging relentlessly and are ready to make their mark on the new year.
