TGEFM is super excited to premiere the newest single from Italy’s Proton Packs, “Hallucination Nation.” That’s the fourth single from the band’s fifth full-length, Visions from the Void, which is due out this Friday via Mom’s Basement Records. The band keeps their punk sensibilities, but mixes things up a bit with this track:
This a surprise single we decided to give to all our Ecto-Punk fans while we wait for the official release date! “Hallucination Nation” is a little bit different than the other songs on the next record. It was one of the album’s working titles and the lyrics questions whether thoughts and conscience can alter reality!
Heck, I can barely walk down the stairs without my hip hurting. Maybe I should try to alter that part of my reality first.
Seriously, though, it is (once again) a great song by one of TGEFM’s faves. And while we don’t have preorder links, you can find more Proton Packs at their own Bandcamp, or at the Mom’s Basement store. Once the album drops we’ll get you a post with all the pertinent links!
