San Francisco duo 37 Houses, the husband and wife team of Jeremy Rosenbaum and Erin Samueli, are less than two months away from their debut, self-titled LP. That album releases on 15 Nov 2024, and they’ve already got the first single “Jealous Love” out since late last month.
Now, today, here, right now TGEFM is pleased to premiere the moody lead track, “It Stays With Me.” Unlike the previously-released single, which has a lot more pop to it, “It Stays With Me” is a somber launch to the album that builds and builds in intensity. Once you think that bubble is going to burst, 37 Houses pulls it back and ends the song, depriving you of catharsis. Or do they? It’s only the lead track of many and it sounds like this whole album has a story to tell.
