Are you ready for “Vanity Is A Fuck”? I sure hope so, because that’s the new song from Baltimore’s Luxury Teeth, and TGEFM is pumped to share it with you today (hint, there’s more).
The track comes from the band’s kinda two part LP, DCxPC Live & Dead Vol. 3, due out this coming Thursday. The first half of the album, the Live part, is comprised of their performance at The Ottobar in their hometown, recorded on 09 May 2023. Nine songs of ripping hardcore punk performed in its element. The second half, Dead, which starts with “Vanity Is A Fuck,” features ten studio tracks, some new, some already heard on the Live side.
DCxPC co-founder Scott Pasch says of the band and release
What can I say about Luxury Teeth? It’s a band of Baltimore dudes that I’ve known and loved for over a decade from past bands: National Razor FDIC, Die Cheerleader Die, The Revelevens, The Homeowners, Copstabber, and more, and it’s a band whose first show I got the pleasure to rock the fuck out to in the summer of 2022 when they played with my old band, Call in Dead, while we were on tour from Florida. Wanting to do a live album with them was a no-brainer. Getting to do a Live & Dead is just fucking killer. Their sound is Baltimore hardcore punk at its best. Don’t believe me? Put shit on and crank it the fuck up, and you’ll know I speak the truth.
The “more” part is that, while we get to premiere the lead track, THE ENTIRE ALBUM is currently running live over at the Luxury Teeth Bandcamp prior to the official release on Thursday, with preorders on 12″ vinyl also available. So have a listen below and then, you know, let the player keep running to hear all of the songs!
