Hot off the heels of their announcement they’d be signing to Heading East Records, My Cousin’s Girlfriend’s House and TGEFM are totally excited to premiere the brand new single and lyric video from the band: “All For Love and All For Nothing”
The single will feature prominently as the title track on the band’s upcoming EP, due in August! The band gives us further details:
“We got involved with Fred [Mascherino] and Heading East just in time for the new single and we’re super stoked to get ‘All For Love & All For Nothing’ out to the world. The song is the title track for our upcoming EP and comes from a place of trying to find peace and inner joy in your passions while constantly being pulled all over the place by everyday life. Pushing ourselves to be a better band while juggling the day-to-day has been such a taxing but incredibly cool and rewarding experience. We’ve had such a blast working with Matt Brasch (The Wonder Years) in writing/production and Nick Steinborn (The Wonder Years) mixing this EP and can’t wait to continue rolling it out. These guys understand the grind more than anybody and have been amazing with helping us blend all our influences together into a project that reflects the band’s personality as a whole. Super excited and grateful for the opportunity to put these songs out!”

Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon. He is more than just an awful father to his 2 daughters, he is also a dreadful husband, a subpar writer, a terrible dresser and has a severe deficiency in all things talent… but hey, at least he’s self-aware, amirite?
