Richmond, VA’s bubblegum punks NC17 are on the move! They are releasing their debut EP Nasty Habits this Friday, 21 Jan 2022, but TGEFM are bringing it to you in full two days before release, and you’re going to want to check this out.
This female-fronted group plays fast and fun punk rock with catchy, poppy vocals and melodies that would fail to put a smile on the faces of only the most hardened (and dead inside) individual. When asked about the EP as a whole, Ryan from the band says:
We all think this release epitomizes having fun. The songs were so fun to write as they all evolved and came together so organically. The melodies are strong and catchy with light-hearted sing-along hooks. We hope all that comes through to the listener. This batch of songs mean the world to all of us in the band and we hope to Hell everyone who listens enjoys them.
I’ve listened through this EP several times already and I, for one, am hooked by the hooks. This is a killer debut, and we are honored that NC17 has allowed us to share it with you!
