And now for something completely different. Just kidding! TGEFM is all about the music at the lives at the fringes of society so, really, nothing is different. Right?
And today we’ve got a new one for you from Los Angeles-based artist Jei-Rynn. “ok, you got me” (yep, all lower case) is the newest track from this alt-pop artist, and serves as the declaration of his upcoming EP viole(n)t dreams. The song has a lot of Teenage Wrist in it, as Marshall Gallagher (guitars, vocals) produces and Anthony Salazar (drums) handles percussion.
Jei-Rynn (who autocorrect abhors… it’s not “Jen” damnit) describes the track as a “modern take on goth-tinged punk focused on the familiar conflict of individual vs society.”
The viole(n)t dreams EP is due out 15 Nov 2024, and there’s a lot more in the pipeline. You can pre-save the single here, and head to Jen-Ry… see?!? Damned autocorrect… JEI-RYNN‘s Bandcamp to preorder that EP, or hear more from his discography. See below for socials.
