Afraid of furries? Or Skeletons? If so, don’t worry… this new video for The Honesty‘s most recent single “5150” is… ummm… perfectly safe. Honestly.
OK, there are people in costumes but they’re not furries or skeletons, they’re figments of a troubled mind, so even better, right?
TGEFM is super-pumped to premiere this new video from the band. The song dropped back in August but we’d never heard of The Honesty before and, well, that’s why we do this all in the first place: discover new, great music and share it with you. And damn is this song good. Kinda poppy, kinda gruff, catchy as all get out. The video is hoot. Win/win/win, right? As the band tells us:
“5150” was written as a spur of the moment song for a sold out show we had with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The video was so fun to make, especially when I (Mike) got to fall into some fake dog poop. That’s who we are though. We take our music very seriously, but no matter what, we need to be having fun doing it, and I think the video portrays that very well.
It definitely shows!
