Happy Friday, everyone! I hope your day is going well but, even if it ain’t, it’s going to get a whole lot better! TGEFM is honored to premiere the new single (and lyric video!) from Denver pop-punks Wastebasket!
“Lemon Meringue” is a power-infused track full of chugga-chugga palm mutes and classic pop-punk vocals, coupled with a catchy chorus. Pounding drums keep the energy going throughout. Fair warning: you’re going to want some lemon meringue yourself after watching the lightly-animated video.
While this is the third single release from the band, there’s actually something a bit more special about, as they tell us:
“Lemon Meringue” is a hopeful song reminding the listener that no matter what the situation; you can re-adjust your environment to make the future brighter. It was the first song we wrote as a band and will always be near and dear to our hearts.
Not bad for the first one they wrote!
Wastebasket can be found at the social and streaming links below. Keep an eye on them!
