TGEFM is excited to premiere the new single “Karma” from Louisville indie-rock pair Feral Vices. The song, which also delves into the flavors of alt-rock, as you’ll hear below, is their first offering of 2023, and their first new music since the Dec 2021 With Offerings EP.
When asked about the song, guitarist/vocalist Alexander Hoagland has this to say:
“Karma” is a call to responsibility. It is a call to take credit for our role in making things the way they are or perpetuating the way things have been. It is a bit of an anti-anthem song. We aren’t great, we deserve the consequences of our actions, and sometimes, I think we do it on purpose because we don’t like what we see in the mirror. I think admitting that can be healing and the first step towards making something better.
Lucky you, the single is also available as a lyric video, so you can sing along!
Feral Vices also have some gigs coming up this month:
04 May 2023 – The Pleasant Underground – Ferndale MI w/ Euclid C Finder, Black Matter Device, and Blyst
05 May 2023 – Medieval Pub – Cleveland OH w/ This Summer, Noise CTRL, and Minus
20 May 2023 – Poorcastle Festival 2023 – Louisville KY
