Welcome to Thursday! Time for a premiere, eh? Well, lucky you TGEFM and Denver’s EDITH have you covered with their new sing and video “Same Team.”
This is the band’s third single of 2024, all following their Aug 2023 debut EP Everybody Does It To H**. It’s got a lot of composition to it, some changes in style, and walks the line between power-pop, emo, and even some post-punk/hardcore. EDITH brings it all to the yard and leaves nothing behind!
“Same Team” is an ode to anyone who has been in a broken home or family of divorce. It is a special kind of struggle when even your sanctuary is no longer a safe place for you. It is our aim to show the frustration involved and how these situations have affected us and our relationships.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area.
