The Punk Rock Saves Lives organization and IM Records have announced the second of five planned volumes in their benefit series of comps. Punk Rock Saves Lives… The Album! Vol.II, like its predecessor, will be limited to 1000 copies on vinyl, with all proceeds going to the Punk Rock Saves Lives’ activities in promoting health and wellness, human rights, and equality.
There’s still more to come, but the track listing so far includes:
The Venomous Pinks – “Hold On”
Dead To Me – “Don’t Be Mad” (Previously Unreleased)
CHASER – “Good Times”
The Alarm – “Standing On the Corner” (First time on vinyl)
War On Women – “White Lies”
The Living End – “Guns and Ammunition” (Previously Unreleased Hot House Demo 2010)|
Less Than Jake – “Sprit of ’20” (First time on vinyl)
Swingin’ Utters – “Human Potential”
Middle-Aged Queers – “This Song is Sponsored by Absolut Vodka” (Previously Unreleased)
The Bridge City Sinners – “The Fear”
Stolen Wheelchairs – “Keep It Alive” (Previously Unreleased)
Belvedere – “Good Grief Retreat”
Likely due to the worldwide backlog on vinyl, the album is expected to be released 01 Aug 2021. If you’re keen on picking up a copy, head to the IM Records webstore to put in an order. You can also pick up one of the remaining copies of Vol I while you’re there, if you don’t have it yet.
