Chock full of music from Boston and New England-based bands the new, 30 song comp Quarantine Age Wasteland: A Benefit for Boston’s Small Venues has been released with the goal of raising money to support the local music venues of Boston through the coronavirus closures.
Featuring acts such as Mickey Rickshaw, Cook Bag, OC45 (and even “honorary Bostonian” Mikey Erg), the comp includes previously-released material as well as rare and unreleased tracks. The asking price is $15 but, being Bandcamp, you can always choose to give more.
You can check out a stream of the album below and, if you dig it, head over to Bandcamp to purchase a copy.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
