Whenever possible and applicable, we will make a post at/around noon with information and links for any concerts being streamed that particular day. These will be listed in order by start time, then in alphabetical order by host.
If you are planning on putting on a stream from home, either solo or as part of a larger set of bands, be sure to let TGEFM know by sending the info to us via our Submissions form. We’ll share the information as a regular post as soon as possible, and feature it on the day of in the Quarantine Concert Roundup post.
For May Day we’ve got a lot of concerts going on… Sadly, it appears that a huge chunk of the multi-artist sets start at 6pm EDT (11pm BST/ 24h00 CET). It is going to be quite hard to pick what to watch at any given moment because they all look AWESOME but, due to the magic of internet, you can always jump back and forth… kind of like a multi-stage festival from the comfort of your own home! (minus the sweaty bodies and mud)
Bedtime for Charlie – 1pm EDT / 19h00 CET
Italian melodic hardcore act Bedtime for Charlie will be performing an acoustic set in support of their local venue Alvarado Street in Rome. This is the band’s first performance in over four years and looks to raise funds to keep Alvarado Street afloat during the shutdown.
Per the information available, you can catch the stream at Alvarado Street‘s Facebook page. If that fails (and the information isn’t updated here yet), head over to Bedtime for Charlie‘s FB page for more info.
North Alone “Lockdown Liveset IV” – 3pm EDT / 21h00 CET
Manuel of Germany’s North Alone will be playing songs on request, both North Alone tracks and any song he knows, from the band’s Facebook page. A great warm-up to start out the night of music.
Head over to North Alone‘s Facebook page to check it out.
Live from The Rock Room – 6pm EDT
Live from The Rock Room will be hosting a triple play, featuring performances by Kris Roe of The Ataris, Josh Caterer of Smoking Popes, and Robb MacLean of Limbeck on their Facebook page.

Red Scare Industry’s Variety Show – 6pm EDT
Red Scare Industries’ “Variety Show” will feature a bevy of artists either playing music, or just having a chat, from the comfort of their respective homes. Featuring the likes of Billy Liar, Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms, Jen and Poli of The Bombpops and more performing; as well as conversations with Miguel Chen of TBR, and Erin Burkett of Fat Wreck Chords; this should be a great way to kill some time when you’re stuck at home on a Friday night.
Included with the live stream will be a donation form where viewers can throw a little cash at an artist of their choice.
Red Scare’s Variety Show can be found HERE. It is hosted via Twitch but appears to not require a Twitch account to join in.
Wiretap Records Family Vacation – 6pm EDT
Wiretap will be bringing in four different acts for tonight’s entry in their “Family Vacation” live stream series. American Television, Bristol to Memory, The Lucky Eejits, and Jaake of Get Married will each be playing 30-minute sets this evening.
Wiretap’s stream is hosting via their Wiretap Records Community page on Facebook.
Note- this next one is tomorrow, but starts fairly early in the morning for those in the Americas. As such, we’re including it here, as well
Boatless Booze Cruise IV – May 2nd, 2020 8:15am EDT / 14h15 CET
Booze Cruise’s Online Fundraising Festival is chock full of great acts. Unlike other streams, this IS a ticketed event, with all proceeds going to support the live music venues of Hamburg, DE. Purchasing a ticket will net you a link to a private group on Facebook where the streams will be hosted.
Participating artists include Ducking Punches, Nikki of Molly Rhythm, Ben of Tigers Jaw, Jennie of Bad Cop/Bad Cop, Russ of Good Riddance, and many more- over 9 hours of live music!
You can pick up your “tickets” HERE, where you can also find instructions on how you’ll gain entry to the gig.
