OUTLOUD! has released Derek Pereza‘s (of Mad Judy) cover of the Misfits track “Rat Fink.” That song is on the B-side of the 1979 7″ Night of the Living Dead (and appears on other collections, as well). Pereza turns the straight-forward Misfits track into a wild and frantic punk-a-billy extravaganza.
Check out the cover below, and visit Mad Judy’s Bandcamp page to hear more from the band.
Each of the covers are collectively under the umbrella of the We’re a Fiend Family comp, which OUTLOUD! is providing for free to all orders in the month of October, and by request with any order thereafter. To hear all of the covers released so far, check out the comp’s landing page on the OUTLOUD! Bandcamp HERE.
