RebUke (aka Milo Aukerman) releases new 7″ “45… not a LP”

The Descendents‘ Milo Aukerman has released a new surprise 7″, 45… not a LP, under the name RebUke. The album features three new tracks performed by Aukerman with, you guessed it, his ukeleles.

The tracks were intended for the next Descendents album, but Aukerman felt they were too urgent considering the upcoming election, and released them under the RebUke name. The title is play on the 45 RPM speed for vinyl, as well as the fact that Donald Trump is the 45th president of the USA.

If you believe, like me, that 45 is not a LP, we ALL need to VOTE to make that a reality,” encourages Aukerman. “Only then can we hope to see a return to sanity, a turning of the page.  These songs are my personal attempts to turn the page on our national nightmare…if only I could will it through music.

The album is available now on Epitaph via major streaming services, and Fat Wreck Chords is taking preorders for a physical 7″.
