Brooklyn-based power-pop quartet Safe Houses return with their first new music in two years with “I’ll be Bad to You.” The song follows up their 2023 EP (or more of a double single) Someday Is Starting Now/I Don’t Feel Like Dancing. The band’s output is very infrequent (two other previous EPs in 2014 and 2019), which is a shame because their music is so damn fun.
Speaking of fun, they’ve released a music video along with the new song and, well, it’s pretty bad fun!
Enjoy it below, and find more Safe Houses on their Bandcamp and Spotify.

He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
