Seattle’s Schmutzhund, self-described as “filthy rock ‘n’ roll” but is definitely filthier punk rock, have announced a new project to release a single each month of 2023. With that, the band has delivered January’s entry into the project, “Misery”. It’s the type of pick-me-up song to boost your spirits and put a spring in your step as you walk out the door to face the day*.
The new single comes on the heels of the band’s recent album III, released just this past November.
Schmutzhund is on Bandcamp, Spotify, and YouTube; with social media at FB and IG.
*that’s a lie. It’s pretty harsh.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
