As we reported at the tail-end of January, Seattle’s Schmutzhund will be releasing a single each month of this year. Following “Misery” we now have “Maskless Oppressor”. I’m not going to lie: if you like your music pristinely produced and everything perfect, this ain’t the track for you. I wouldn’t be surprised if they recorded this with a Panasonic tape recorder shoved into a an Maxwell House coffee can. It sounds raw and, if that’s your thing, you’l love it!
The new singles project follows up the band’s recent album III, released just this past November.
Schmutzhund is on Bandcamp, Spotify, and YouTube; with social media at FB and IG.
