Bay Area label Sell The Heart Records (fronted by Andy Pohl of Tsunami Bomb) have announced a new release collecting the works of Hopelifter. Titled Anthemology, the release collects the short-lived band’s two EPs, the Anthem (2000) and North of the Thirtysix (2001).
Hopelifter was the brainchild of Screw 32‘s Andrew Champion, and formed an amalgamation of skatepunk, post-hardcore, and more.
The album is out 02 Sep 2022, and preorders are now available for digital and vinyl over at the Sell the Heart Bandcamp site, where two of the tracks “St. Christopher” and “Resistance” are now available to sample.
