Semi-Famous release “The Betrayal B4/The Best Treachery” video, more details on sophomore LP

A quick refresher: Semi-Famous initially began as a fictional band from John Jughead’s (Screeching Weasel, The Mopes, etc) book Weasels In A Box. In late 2022, Jughead brought the band to reality, enlisting fellow musicians Ryan Rockwell (Mixtapes), Billy Brown (Crash And Burn, Ashers, Unseen) and Poli Van Dam (ex-Bombpops), and whoever else he can get his hands on.

2024 saw both the release of the band’s debut LP Destroy Ourselves, as well as the passing of Billy Brown. But the band has endeavored onwards, and now have new music, and details for their sophomore LP.

First up, the album: Titled Not Sorry, it is due out 18 Feb 2026 on digital, with physical copies shipping in April. You can preorder the digital edition over at the Semi-Famous Bandcamp. The physical version, via Sounds Radical, doesn’t ship until 10 Apr 2026, and preorders don’t open until 18 Feb 2026.

Next up, the music: We have four songs available from the LP, depending on where you look. Back-to-back tracks “The Betrayal B4” and “The Best Treachery” are available now, paired together as a lightly-animated music video, presented more like a motion comic book.

Meanwhile, that latter track, plus “Orange Grove Insert” and “Buzz Off” are all available at the Semi-Famous Bandcamp (see link above).
