Shower With Goats release album 12 years in the making

Shower With Goats have released This Is Not A Reflection… The album is available now on all major streaming services, and a limited edition of 100 CD’s are available on the bands Bandcamp page.

The album is released on lead singer Steve “Neurotic” Papp’s Not For Profit Records label. All profits made from this album will be donated to several organizations that support the Black Lives Matter movement.

Forming in 1994, Shower With Goats were a staple band in the 1990’s New Jersey pop-punk
scene, known for raw and upbeat melodies and emphatic lyrics that garnered the attention of labels like Drive-Thru and Fueled By Ramen who put them on compilations. The band took a seven-year break before reforming in 2007.

In 2008 Shower With Goats entered Crescendo Sound Studios, then owned by Addison Burns (Quit, The Ship Thieves) & Derron Nuhfer (Less Than Jake, Gunmoll) to record and master their second full-length Reflection in only two days. After selling 50 copies, the band pulled the remaining records until they were able to give them the attention and time needed for them to sound the way they were intended in Summer 2020 by Arik Victor from Creep Records and Studios in Philadelphia, PA.

A video promoting the release is available below. The video features artists and fans like Jaret Reddick (Bowling For Soup), Chris DeMakes, (Less Than Jake), Fred Mascherino (Taking Back Sunday), Mikey Erg (The Ergs), Chris Barrows (Pink Lincolns), Soma Snakeoil (The Sidewalk Project), and Shakey Sue (The Hellfreaks).
