New York hardcore/punk act Shutdown have announced their second EP in as many years, this time with new material. Titled By Your Side, the album is due out 17 Jan 2025 via Equal Vision Records, and follows their 2023 comeback Still… Against All Odds EP (itself a re-recording of select tracks from their 1998 Against All Odds LP.)
To mark the occasion, the band has a released the title track as a music video and, oh golly, it’s nice that there’s the t-shirt callout to 7Seconds because this new song definitely punches you right in the posi-punk gut.
