North Carolina synth-punk Heavy For The Vintage (Michael Wood and whomever he can gather up as guests) have a new album coming out this summer. Titled RESIST. DANCE., it is due out 20 Jun 2025, and is the first new music from HFTV since 2022’s “any attention is good attention, I guess” single.
The first single, “Silence Knows,” is out now. As HFTV explains:
RESIST. DANCE. is a step away from HFTV’s previous more ambient and experimental efforts, and toward loop driven synth punk, synth pop, dark wave, minimal wave, new wave, and most every other wave you can think of.
There you go. Preorders fore cassette, CD, digital download, or one of two shirts which come with a free CD or cassette are all up over at Bandcamp. Hear more music there, or over on Spotify.
