Kentucky/Tennessee power-pop quartet The Dreaded Laramie have announced that they’ve got a new LP on the way, Princess Feedback, which will also include their recent singles “Breakup Songs” and “Fishnets.”
That album is due out 05 Jul 2024 via Smartpunk Records. Accompanying that announcement is the new single and video “Life Is Funny.” While the song is fun in that sticky sweet, yet somewhat slightly mischievous style that The Dreaded Laramie have perfected, the video is a great slow-motion affair of the band just getting pelted with eggs. Next to putting skateboarding in your video, getting smacked in the face with food is my favorite music video trope.
