Hardcore punks out of Toronto Siyahkal return with their first new music in over seven years. Days of Smoke and Ash / روزای دود و خاکستر will be out on 07 Mar 2025. The LP follows their 2017 EP لبخند بزن ای برادر / Smile Brother, as well as 2020’s Live at CJSW – June 03, 2016.
The band has released the first single “Evin Fire.” It’s some pretty awesome 80s-style hardcore punk, complete with some nice metal-tinged work on the intro. The album is currently up for preorder on their Bandcamp, with two vinyl variants and digital download options. You can also stream Siyahkal’s music from Spotify.
