UK’s SKIV have released a video for their song “Chick Chicken.” That’s the title track of their new EP, which was released Friday, 04 Jun 2021.
Editor’s note- Chick Chicken is a fast food chicken joint a few doors down from the New Cross Inn in London. It’s location makes it a prime eating spot for bands and concert-goers attending events at NXI (especially during the all-dayers, when mid-afternoon AND late evening visits to the eatery are common), and part of its appeal likely lies in that proximity more so than the quality of food. Having eaten there more times than I can remember, I’d say that it isn’t great but, considering what you’ve got in the area, it often hits the spot.
As you can hear from the song, 2/4s of the band loves Chick Chicken, 1/4… not so much, and I guess we don’t hear the drummer’s opinion on this matter.
