As premiered earlier this week over at Brooklyn Vegan, Chicago’s Smoking Popes are working on a new album for 2024. If that seems like too long to wait, they’ve got you covered with their cover of classic The Human League track “Don’t You Want Me.” Assisting with the vocals for the song is Sincere Engineer‘s Deanna Belos (who also just announced their own upcoming album).
Not content with a great cover, Pope’s Josh Caterer and Deanna took a walk in the park for a music video, too. Normally my walks in the park are a bit more relaxing.
