Santa Cruz band Scowl continue their transition from 80s hardcore to a more multi-genre act with their new single “Special.” Following their 2023 EP Psychic Dance Routine and 2021’s How Flowers Grow LP, the new track megrims their previous hardcore style and alternates it with straight-up alt-rock sections.
