In one of those “wake up in the morning to find something nice in your inbox” Glaswegian punks The Kimberly Steaks and Belfast, Northern Ireland’s Not Matter have released a surprise split EP. The release, out now via Welsh label Brassneck Records, features two new songs from each band. While the limited edition vinyl stops at that, if you grab a copy you will also get a download of an extra track from each band covering the other’s work.
You can head straight to the Brassneck webstore to pick up that physical 7″, or head to their Bandcamp page where you can grab all six tracks as a digital download.
The Kimberly Steaks most recent album was 2019’s Confessions of a Justified Cynic, while No Matter just dropped Bad Chemistry earlier this year (check out my review of that album here).
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
