Long-running indie rock band Spoon will be hitting the road this summer for a non-stop tour of the eastern USA. Following their tenth album, 2022’s Lucifer On The Sofa, last year the band released two new singles and announced their in-progress, eleventh studio LP. Although news on that is still slowly trickling out (and nothing of note since last November, it’s not a big leap to think that this tour might coincide with that release.
Joining Spoon on all stops of the tour will be New Zealand’s The Beths, who have a lot of international touring going on, and will be rounding out the US leg of that with Spoon. Chicago’s Squirrel Flower will be supporting on all but the first date.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
