Stepmother are in a “Vacant State” as they announce new LP

Stepmother, no not yours, the trio from Australia, will be releasing a new LP sometime in the near future. The title, release date, what formats it’ll be on are all a mystery at the moment. But what we do know is that it is their sophomore LP, following 2023’s Planet Brutalicon, the single cover is just about everyone’s Christmas from the 80s, and they’ve dropped the first pre-release single, “Vacant State.” That song comes as a music video that you can enjoy below. Enjoy the video games, bombers and either jets scrambling, explosions, and all of the fuzzed out guitars you could ever want.

The band is also touring around parts of the USA starting this week. See info on those tour dates below, and find more Stepmother at their Bandcamp or Spotify.
