Indie dieties Superchunk are nothing if not prolific, and their newest collection of B-sides, rarities, and other ephemera is proof of that. The cumbersomely titled Misfit & Mistakes: B-sides and Strays 2007-2023 covers those 16 years and is (adjusts glasses) 50 songs long.
To celebrate this momentous release, the band has re-released the catchy tune “Sunny Brixton,” which originally appeared on the hard-to-find 2011 “Learned to Surf” 7″.
The collection is due out 24 Oct 2023, and will be available on quadruple vinyl, double CD, digital download, and streaming. All those options and more can be found at this link page, and enjoy “Sunny Brixton” below.

He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
