Hot off of their tremendous collection Misfit & Mistakes: B-sides and Strays 2007-2023, Superchunk has announced a new 7″ due out at the end of the month. The 7″, which may or may not be the last to feature long-time drummer Jon Wurster*, features the new single “Everybody Dies” as the A-side, along with a cover of the 1993 Alastair Galbraith song “as in a blender.”
We’ve got that A-side single now, which you can hear below, and you can preorder the 7″ at the Merge Bandcamp page.
*who knows? this band records so much material they’ll be releasing stuff recorded last year in, like, 2055
