Chicago indie/alt/power-pop trio Superkick paid a visit to the new “Rock Room” for an in-studio performance, the first of which is now available. The band performs their single “nightshift,” which released in Jan 2023 on Whooten Records, and is the first of three singles they have delivered over the past year-and-a-bit.
The Rock Room, which has had many iterations as founder Mike Felumlee (Smoking Popes, former Alkaline Trio) has moved around, and now has another venue for performances that is not in his basement, namely Bombsight Recording Studio in Bloomington, IL.
