Supreme Echo, Canadian label doing the lord’s work of revitalizing old releases, has announced their newest deluxe remaster. For their next LP the label brings us Blue Oil, Quebec’s first all woman punk group. The 12-song release covers tracks from the band’s 1981-1983 output, including their hit song “Money”.
As per usual, all the bells and whistles have been applied. Along with the skilled remaster, physical copies will also include a bilingual booklet with photos and text on Blue Oil’s history, and stickers.
Three songs are currently streaming, and vinyl pre-orders are up, limited to 600 copies on aqua blue vinyl.
Check out the available songs below, and swing by Supreme Echo’s Bandcamp page to pre-order.
