Chicago sweeties Sweetie have released their cover, and accompanying video, of the La Roux song “Bulletproof.” That track is off La Roux’s self-titled debut LP from 2009, and the cover will appear on Sweetie’s upcoming sophomore album La Vie en Rouge. It’s the first music from Sweetie since the Mar 2024 track “Showgirl.” As albums go it will follow up their Aug 2020 debut LP Bad Thing Sweet Thing.
