After having initially calling it a day in 2021, UK’s Take Aim Fire, the solo act of Marc Bishop, returned with new material in January and the hint of an upcoming album. It’s been ten long months, but now we have the second single, and more info on that album.
First, the single. Titled “Going Over the Wall,” it’s a music-driven punk banger where the vocals blend in more with the instrumentation. But the video… well, if you’re scared of heights, don’t watch. Not sure where it’s taken from, but it features three young men parkouring along the rooftops of an urban environment. Like, 10 stories off the ground.
The upcoming album is titled From the Ashes and, while we still don’t have a release date, we at least know that Take Aim Fire still has plans to release it.
Take Aim Fire’s music is spread all over the place, but Spotify and Bandcamp are good sites to check out more.
