A new cover from the upcoming Undercover on the Streets: A Vagrant Records Tribute Comp, due out 20 May 2022 via Wiretap Records and Friend Club Records, has been released. This time around it is Talk Show Host channeling The Hold Steady‘s “Chips Ahoy”, which is off of the band’s 2006 release Boys and Girls in America. This is the third track to be released, following up covers by Burnt Tapes and Common Sage when the comp was announced.
The 30+ track compilation will also feature a a bevy of songs by acts throughout the storied label’s history, including covers by Tiny Stills, American Television, Avenues and more.
