That’s Good Enough For Me is opening up the review floodgates allowing you, dear readers, to submit your own music/movie/book reviews! Any and all content is reviewable, even something that has already been reviewed. Got a different opinion than someone else on that recent album? Put your money where your mouth is.
Now, we’re not going to let just any random Randy or Rebecca submit, though, and there are a few guidelines that should be followed or else your review may end up in the proverbial trash.
TGEFM Account
We do require that you have user account here at TGEFM first. Don’t have one? That’s OK, just click HERE to get started. Please use a legitimate email address when setting up, as TGEFM editors may contact you about your review.
Once you have an account set up, and are logged in, you can click HERE to submit a review. Or, you know, just look over at that handy section to the right and click there.
Writing Guidelines
Reader reviews should follow the same guidelines as TGEFM staff. Submissions that fail to follow these may not be accepted:
- LP/book/movie reviews should be between 300-500 words
- EP reviews should be between 200-400 words
- Reviews should follow our “Fair but Firm” mantra: We can praise work that is deserving, but understand that even the best work can have faults. Likewise, we can be critical of a work without being cruel or harsh. Think “constructive criticism.”
So, do you think you have what it takes to write a stellar review? TGEFM is waiting to find out!
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
