We here at TGEFM love to support the little guy. Sure, we’ll post news on the big ‘uns, too. But we love to fill our pages with the hard working, smaller bands from around the world. The ones who don’t have touring buses and guitar techs and riders for their gigs. Or the labels that are taking chances on smaller acts who are touring on a shoe-string budget, playing for a crowd of a dozen in some tiny club.
Titled Two Way Street, the page, which will be updated regularly, collects tips and tricks for these smaller acts to help them get their name out there and into the public’s ears. It is full of quick and easy suggestions to make publicizing yourself easier than ever before.
So head on over to the Two Way Street page and see if any of what we have to suggest would help you out!
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
