Here we go, Here we go, Here we go! Vets The Bouncing Souls have started a Patreon page as a new outlet to connect with fans while they aren’t able to hit the road. There will be four membership tiers, beginning with the $6 per month “Hopeless Romantic tier,” other options include the “True Believer” tier ($12 monthly), the “Something Special” tier ($24 monthly) all the way up to the extremely limited $99 a month “Ant Brigade” tier, which includes a custom one-minute song written for you and the chance to join the band for their pre-show huddle. Regardless of the tier, every patron will have access to the “Can You Remember” podcast, documenting the bands 30-plus year history, but higher tiers will also receive bonuses including discounts at the webstore and handwritten lyrics.
For a limited time, The Bouncing Souls are inviting everyone to take a free sneak peek of the initial episode of “Can You Remember” featuring Rob Santello of Sticks and Stones here.
You can also check out the first single “World on Fire” off the upcoming as-yet-untitled album below.
Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon. He is more than just an awful father to his 2 daughters, he is also a dreadful husband, a subpar writer, a terrible dresser and has a severe deficiency in all things talent… but hey, at least he’s self-aware, amirite?
