Ever wanted to sing along to a ska-punk song, but couldn’t figure out the lyrics due to the screaming and gravelly voices? Of course not! But that’s not stopping The Boy Detective, out of Ypsilaniti, MI, from delivering a lyric video for their newest single “Unrealized Gains.” The song, which appears to be a stand-alone, released last Friday on streaming platforms. It follows their recent releases from last November, the holiday single “I Renounce Verdukianism,” and the Exhibition LP (which combines 2021’s Banned from the Bathtub and Jan 2024’s Art Theft EPs), all of which are out via Punkerton Records.
Find that new album at the Punkerton store or streaming on Spotify. More The Boy Detective can also be found at their link page.
