I still find it difficult to follow the numbering system for Florida’s The Fest, as the numbers are only off by two from the year. It gets tricky.
Anyhow, The Fest 22 has announced the first huge set of acts for their 2024 edition. At the top of the list is Hot Water Music and The Bouncing Souls, that latter of which will be performing FOUR different albums across two sets.
And since TGEFM respects this heavy hitters, but really swings for the lil’ guys, at the bottom of the announcement are Aren’t We Amphibians, Academy Order (new ones for me, I’ve just been introduced to more great bands!) and MVLL CRIMES.
The Fest 22 will take place at multiple venues across Gainesville from 25-27 Oct 2024. As usual, expect a slew of bands to announce their migration tours soon, along with accompanying official and unofficial events in the area.
