On again/off again 90s-era post-hardcore/alt act The Jesus Lizard is finally getting around to releasing a new LP. Titled RACK, is due out 13 Sep 2024 via Ipecac Recordings. It follows up their Blue LP, which released way back in 1998 via Capitol Records.
TJL originally disbanded in 1999, reformed for a brief spell in the oughts, and then again in 2017. Although kicking around for the last seven years, they haven’t had any new releases until now, with the new single “Hide & Seek.”
The album is available for preorder via a variety of stores and locations, many of which sport their own exclusive vinyl variants. Find all those links and info at this link page.
Lastly (for now), they’re going be gigging and touring now and into 2025. Tickets can be found here.
